Dynamic hosting costs depend on both requests and runtime. The same monthly workload compares the execution-cost portion of Workers Paid, Deno Deploy Pro, and request-based Cloud Run.
At official 2026-10 prices, Workers costs $5/month including 10 million requests and 30 million CPU-ms, then $0.30/million requests and $0.02/million CPU-ms. Deno Pro costs $20/month including 5 million requests, 50 CPU-hours, and 750 GiB-hours memory; excess is $2/million requests, $0.10/CPU-hour, and $0.025/GiB-hour. In us-central1, Cloud Run includes 2 million requests, 180,000 CPU-seconds, and 360,000 GiB-seconds, then charges $0.40/million, $0.000024/CPU-second, and $0.0000025/GiB-second.
The calculation assumes selected CPU-ms per request, a 100 ms Cloud Run minimum per request, 1 vCPU, 0.25 GiB, and concurrency one. Deno memory GiB-hours are approximated as CPU time×0.25 GiB and can differ from actual billable memory time. It assumes 10 GiB transfer within Deno Pro’s allowance and excludes Cloud Run internet egress, storage, tax, and regional premiums.
When to use
Use it for an initial dynamic API budget; see the free tier comparison for static sites and bandwidth egress cost for large transfers.
