A browser asks a DNS resolver for the address behind a name. On a cache miss, the resolver follows DNS delegation to an authoritative server and caches the answer for its lifetime.
The demo moves the lookup from name to resolver to authoritative server, then returns an address. A warm cache avoids repeating the full lookup.
When to use
Trace the lookup path and TTL when diagnosing domain failures, DNS changes, or first connection latency.
