OpenAPI 3.2 is the 2025 edition of the HTTP API description specification. It records paths, operations, requests, responses, and schemas in a machine-readable form. This edition adds ways to describe QUERY, additional HTTP operations, and sequential or streaming media.

The demo changes an operation and response type in a specification and updates a rendered documentation card. A description does not make the implementation correct by itself; validate that both match.

When to use

Use it when API documentation and tooling must include newer HTTP operations or streamed responses.
