A built-in web search tool runs a search during a model call and lets the model use the results when writing its answer. Source links or citations can accompany the answer so readers can inspect the originals.

The demo moves from a time-sensitive question through two results to a cited answer. Fresh search results are not inherently accurate; verify important facts against the source and date.

When to use

Use it for public information that may have changed since training and needs inspectable sources.
